One day, our client was walking down the street enjoying her day, not knowing that she’d spend her night undergoing intensive surgery. She thought nothing of the recycling truck picking up the street’s recycling across the lane from her.

As she was walking, she was struck by a large recycling can that had been jettisoned from the mechanical arm of truck.
